If you’ve been keeping your eye on the Los Angeles D&B scene, then you’ll know all about Slogun and iOh. Hailed as “Ones to Watch” by Kmag in 2013, their deep respect for junglist history and culture has fuelled a steady rise to prominence both as DJs and producers. Now, they’re ready to take the next step, and make their mark on the international sceneas part of the Technique roster. So, after the warning shot of Razor Sharp on the 15 Years of Technique LP, it’s time to welcome the team now known as Kronology with their first full release.
So Kronology have arrived, and they’ve got some flavours that you might not have heard before. While fully immersed in drum and bass music, they’ve brought their own influences of American EDM, house, punk and metal to work into the formula. Straight out of the San Fernando Valley, here’s something new for the D&B scene, encapsulated in their first release, the Timelapse EP.

Tantrum Desire last surfaced on Technique with a taste of their forthcoming LP. Episode 31 see's the return of the mighty Spectrem…… Since Technique first brought this Aussie producer to the world's attention, he's been unstoppable. His tracks have been dropped on Kiss, Radio 1, 1Xtra and wherever else good bass is purveyed to discerning listeners. He's been DJing alongside names like Matrix & Futurebound, Sigma and Drumsound & Bassline Smith. And as if that wasn't enough, he's back to increase the levels even further. Document One take over this months Podcast ahead of their debut Drum & Bass release on Technique Recordings entitled 'Revolution'EP.
Document One have already proven their credentials in the world of electronic dance music. Their songwriter's instinct for harmony and melody, melded seamlessly with the powerful beats and bass required by discerning dancefloors mean that they've quickly built an impressive reputation. Between their genre-spanning remix work for names like Rob Zombie, Moby and Professor Green, their rave and radio ubiquity and their global DJing schedule, they've made waves across the scene. And now they've landed on Technique for some D&B business.

This months Technique Podcast is mixed by the mighty Erb N Dub
Erb N Dub was last seen on Technique as part of the
musical superhero team-up that goes by the name of Hashtag.
Since then, he’s been busy adding brand new chapters to his
story. From his live project, Wicked City, through his four deck
sets combining D&B with scratches and live drums, to his
mammoth undertaking of developing his own dance music
studio complex, it’s clear he’s a musician with ambition.
And that ambition is perfectly summed up by the motto Let Me
Fly, this EP’s title track. Every track expertly delivers its own mood and
atmosphere, each one different and each one powerful. So, it’s time to join the Erb N Dub journey and see

If you want a list of Digital's achievements in the D&B game, well, unlucky, there just isn't room for them all here. We can give you the headlines though: part of the original rave soundsystem scene since day one, nearly two decades of production experience, releases on virtually every well-respected label including Metalheadz, Reinforced, 31 and his own Function and Phantom Audio imprints. And now his uncompromising dubwise style has arrived on Technique. Digital's name alone is all the seal of approval that a true aficionado will need & he comes correct with this months Podcast.
